Ethics in Travel

Here at The Local Rover, we know that Florida is an incredible place to vacation. That is why hundreds of thousands of people come to our beautiful state to soak up the sunshine, amusement parks, and all sorts of natural beauty. With this comes the worst side of business and that is greed. Travel is expensive, but we make it a point to make sure that with all of our services, we provide not only an incredible experience, but also value. We will always be completely transparent of all prices quoted and provide information in our one-on-one session that ensures our customers know exactly what they are paying for and how much it will cost.

In addition to our transparent pricing, we ensure our industry partners abide by all consumer protection laws and refrain from any deceptive advertising strategies that could mislead consumers. While we at The Local Rover can ensure our ducks are in a row, we will periodically review our partnerships to make sure they don’t give us a bad name. We make sure that we don’t hitch our wagon to the wrong horse.

As the founder of The Local Rover, I hold myself to a high standard and expect my team members, customers, and community to hold me to that. I vow to always be honest and truthful whether that means I earn your business or not. To me it’s not about the money, but the drive to share this beautiful place that I love. If I ever fail to live up to my ideals, I will not stop until I have made it right. The Local Rover is committed to lead by example as an ethical beacon for the local community. It is with this pledge that I am announcing a bid to sit on the University of Tampa Center for Ethics Advisory Board . Talk is cheap, it’s time to make certain we put our best foot forward.
